Digital Banking

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract
Work Model: Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Overview
My client in Dublin is seeking a Senior Technical Leader to drive delivery excellence across their digital banking platforms. This role will lead development and implementation teams, embedding best practices, ensuring high-quality deployments, and providing hands-on technical leadership to solution architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams delivering client-specific digital banking solutions.

  • Ensure scalability, technical quality, and compliance of all deployments.

  • Drive adoption of Agile practices, modern tooling, and AI-enhanced development methods.

  • Partner with solution architecture to shape technical design, pre-sales support, and client engagements.

  • Align engineering and delivery functions to meet project milestones.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define scalable deployment models and influence the product roadmap.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, maintaining governance and regulatory compliance.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven leadership in digital banking delivery and platform engineering.

  • 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ in senior delivery roles.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, integration frameworks, and web technologies.

  • Experience in Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development tooling.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to operate in matrixed environments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Relevant cloud, Agile, or DevOps certifications a plus.
